The hotel is about 7kms away from Baiersbronn in a small town called Obertal. The location of the hotel and the town itself are situated in a very charming place within the block forest. Perfect location if one wants to go to the near by Schwarzwarld National Park for anything. One can go via the hotel directly as well. By Bus, bus 200 goes to the top of the National Park from a nearby stop and hardly takes 5 minutes. The hotel covered our breakfast and lunch. The quality of the food was really good. Second visit to this establishment. We had a pleasant stay in one of the newly renovated rooms, it was really successful. The spa is very pleasant as well as the outdoor environment (despite the rain during our stay . Excellent service, everyone is very friendly. Particular attention is paid to children which is very pleasant (brand new games room, TV room for teenagers, special menu for them... It's a fairly rare thing especially in France for it to have the deserves to be highlighted (continuing on, a small outdoor play area in this large park would be welcome . My friend and lunch guest in her house. First of all, the food was very good, even if we didn't order anything out of the ordinary. The service was very friendly. So we can recommend that. What we didn't like was how colleagues talked to other colleagues in front of guests. We couldn't pay in the room with the device and had to go to reception. There, Mr. Tabiat was spoken to in a very unfriendly manner by the lady at the reception in our presence... in the sense of what he wanted here, etc. Personally, I can't stand it when people think they are something better and show it like that and in front of you Guest. The lady at the reception should think about whether she would like to be treated...
Honestly great, the rooms, the meals, and especially the SPA, which is the best I've seen so far, and I've done a lot, the SPA is prohibited for children under 16 years old, TOP so there are no kids running in all directions screaming and swimsuits are also prohibited....and guess who ignores the bans in the German SPA.....the French who keep, against all odds, the jersey!!!! for a price of around €200 per person you have lunchtime brunch (remember to come the same day around 12:30 p.m. to take advantage of it), unlimited access to the spa, the room and breakfast (which is enormous). we preferred to have the evening meal à la carte and not the 55€ menu with 5 courses. Beautiful surroundings, competent, friendly service, very nice wellness area, sport program, very good food... It is a traditional hotel with many guests who have visited yearly for decades and some rooms are a bit weary. On the other hand, the hotel has completed many tasteful and modern renovations and continues planned renovations. We stayed a week (5th visit) and were not inconvenienced in any way by the construction.
We were just there spontaneously for coffee and cake after a bike tour and were able to enjoy a cake and a cup of coffee or cappuccino from a large selection of cakes on the small but nice sun terrace it was very tasty and the staff was very friendly. Hotel highlights: Luxury, Great view
Nice and peaceful hotel in northern black forest. Perfect place to hide from stressful city life. I did try their lumi lumi massage it was heavenly. They served a great dinner too! The staffs are helpful and very friendly. It's really a great place to spend your relaxing time.
