Spent $90 on 5 items to go 2) burritos 2) enchilada plates 1) tostada. Food took a lot longer to be ready than I was told which is fine by me. I get there and there’s only 2 tables eating and I see my food sitting in the kitchen in to go boxes. The owner then proceeded to microwave my food order individually which took several minutes) I watched her til I couldn’t anymore…When I spoke up about not wanting my food cooked in the microwave I was told she was “trying to change things”, whatever that means. My husband and I ordered enchilada combo plates. While the staff was very friendly and the restaurant was clean, unfortunately the food was not good. Just by taste I realized that most of what they served was not fresh. The salsa, beans, and tortilla tasted store bought and not handmade. The rice was the most disappointing because it was bland and flavorless. This sounds very harsh, but maybe for white people it is good, but if you want something authentic, it is not good. I give them 2 stars because the staff was friendly and hardworking.
Excellent food and great people. The first time was to go and the Carnitas was awesome! Second time I took my boss, this past weekend and sat down to some of the best street tacos I've had since I was actually down in Mexico. I am totally biased towards the woman running the show, even tho we were slow to order, she was cordial and pleasant, dealing with our yappiness will continue to go here til I leave Ina couple of months ? even though it's a little out of the way. Highly recommend!

What a turnaround the new owner did with this restaurant. If you haven’t eaten in this place in years and weren’t impressed, try it again. It’s been highly improved. It’s been consistently great each time I’ve been since 2022. It’s one of my new favorite restaurants in Benicia.
If you're white just know you will be pushed to the side so they can help short Mexicans that think they are special, just remember you are in America if all the non Mexicans stopped buying your food you all would be back
I've been visiting this restaurant since it first opened in the early '90s. The tables are always clean, the staff is friendly, and the food is genuine. I highly recommend trying the taquitos!
Great food with all the fresh ingredients and authentic taste.Andrea works for it be perfect.Enjoyed the Baja Fish Tacos with a side hot sauce.
