We stopped for Lunch in the Restaurant Es Bordes, admittedly 2 years after our last visit, and while the place is still the same, with good decor, clean tidy, clean toilettes etc, I suspect that the ownership has changed, because the food just wasn't as good as before. The Menu seemed too specialized for a Lunchtime, I was served Beer out of a can, the Pate starter was good, but the main courses barely average, and we had to specifically ask for the accompanying wine. All in all it was okay, but with so many other venues within a 10 min drive, I don't believe I will bother to stop there again.
-Menú espectacular, el entrecot de vaca vieja de los mejores que he comido. -Servicio rápido y amable. -Precio más que correcto para la calidad y la cantidad. No le doy las 5* por tener a gente esperando en la calle a que se vacien mesas de la planta de abajo, teniendo la planta de arriba hacia, con solo una mesa ocupada. Nosotros hemos esperado 15minutos y luego al subir la servicio lo hemos visto. Y al irnos habían unas 8 personas fuera esperando mesa. Salvo este detalle, un lujazo de sabor, de rapidez y de atención.
We (4) called by for Lunch and have the €20.90 Lunch which was on the expensive side, but equally was of good quality, content, and presentation. The Starters were great with the ‘assorted Pate’ being especially good. Of the Mains, the Rabbit was in fact a whole side (1/2), and was cooked to perfection, all served with one of the nicest Spanish Wines I have ever had. Without reservation I would recommend calling by, and I will visit again.
S’hi menja molt bé però els cambrers no son gens simpàtics. Tenen dos torns per anar a dinar (a les 13:30 i a les 15:30), i no pots reservar fora d’aquelles hores, malgrat puguis dinar ràpid. Et posen molts problemes. L’ànec a la cocotte és espectacular i el formatge de postres es una estafa.

comida tradicional aranesa, pirineos sabores de menús de calidad: de 20€ a 25€ menú: 35€ a 40€ ambiente rústico local y pequeño comedor con ambiente tranquilo. el cocinero muy agradable. Recomendación olla aranesa i magret de pato a la cocotte, con deliciosas patatas guarnición!
Fue una sorpresa cuando salimos de una ruta. Nos comimos muy bien, todo muy bien. Sólo nos pareció caro que nos cobrarán 2'50 € por cada cerveza porque eran todos lata, si al menos hubieran sido vidrio. Volveremos si volvemos a la zona.
restaurante ideal para comer después de la excursión l'artiga de lin. tener tanto el menú como el menú, el último a 19,90 € a lo largo de la semana. Son rápidos y atentos. muy buena comida y postres son caseros
My favourite restaurant in naut aran magret a la cocote is the best magret ever tasted ! Also spinach with gruyere and olla aranesa a very good options.
