We were staying at Roc’n’Cris with 2 other families and booked for New Years Eve dinner. It was an absolute treat; delicious inventive food presented as a series of tapas by our hosts Cris and Roc. Roc is an excellent chef who has worked in Asia and his foods reflects that experience. The restaurant is a warm, cosy place and the whole experience was special. We also ate breakfast at the hotel and it was a tasty selection of eggs, fruit, meats, cheeses baked goods and green salad along with fresh juice and coffee. If you are looking for a change from the local food in the Aran valley, you will be especially happy to find Roc’n’Cris. Enjoy!
Tan sólo pasamos por allí para tomar un par de cervezas y así echar un vistazo al restaurante. Mi sorpresa fue pagar 10€ por dos cervezas (una artesana y una sin alcohol). Sé que la cerveza artesanal es cara pero un botellín de una cerveza normal sin alcohol no puede ser que cobren tanto... Nos sentimos estafados ya que la terraza es cutre, con mesas de metal de cualquier humilde bar... Y pagar ese precio me parece abusivo.
Absolutely fantastic food a cozy lovely place with the terrace looking over the river. Restaurant serves Asian style food. The chef is very very creative and attentive to details. Each dish is a delight for your taste palette. They have a wonderful selection of ecological, bio dynamic wines without sulfites from the area Costers del Segre : try them, gorgeous! The host is a lovely inviting woman. Cant recommend it enough.
We highly recommend this restaurant! The food is fresh, prepared beautifully and tastes delicious! The service was friendly and professional. Cosy setting and a completely original and different menu to anything else in the valley! They also have a great selection of craft beers. Réservez une table maintenant
