I can't express how satisfied I was with my experience. The service and attention to customers are exceptional! The pizza completely exceeded my expectations. I frequently go on pizza crawls across New Jersey, and Esposito's truly impressed me. I sampled the Brooklyn, Sicilian, and Margherita, and I couldn't resist grabbing two slices of the mushroom pizza—it’s now my new favorite! I highly recommend trying the pizza. Now, I’m off to order a pie for dinner! Great job! Food rating: 5/5.
As a CG native first visited Espositos deli 40 years ago, it was a weekend tradition. Visited again Sunday night (no longer live in NJ), ordered a pie and a couple subs. The pie was good, not Frank Pepe's, but not bad much better than Lombardi's. The Italian hot dog very good flavor not on pizza roll but very good. Sunday night staff a little distracted by their phones and the case needs some proper storage training to be done. I was with someone with a lot of food service experience.
Esposito's was the ideal choice for a rainy weekend evening. My boyfriend and I started with the fried calamari, which was cooked to perfection—lightly battered, crispy, and not chewy at all. I opted for the chicken saltimbocca, and it was delicious. The wine sauce had an incredible flavor. My boyfriend chose the spicy arrabbiata with penne, and this is why I rated it four stars. He wasn't a fan of the strong garlic flavor in the sauce, but as a garlic lover, I absolutely enjoyed it!
It's a fantastic place to eat, and the Grandma Pie is exceptional! The staff is wonderful, and the management goes above and beyond to ensure customer satisfaction. Réservez une table maintenant
