Although this steakhouse is touted as one of the best I felt it left a lot to be desired. Service was slow. Our wait-server was very nice but he kept disappearing so it was hard to get special requests taken care. My dad had a steak with lobster tail. Lobster was not in shell and was like a small lump of rubbery stuff on the plate. Chef said that’s the way it’s supposed to be. Had to send my steak back and they still didn’t get it right. Overall no value for the money. Food not exceptional at all. I would never recommend this place.
Service was awful. Had to ask for bread (2x). Everything came out slow ... including dessert, which we ended up waiting for SO LONG that we cancelled, and called it a night. Food was tasty, though more expensive than other steakhouses I've been too (Morton's, Ruth's Chris, Flemings, Peter Luger's) with much smaller portions. It's in a Sheraton hotel, so maybe they're able to stay alive with that customer base, but if there was another steakhouse in the area, they'd NEVER last.
Planned to celebrate a special occasion with our group and looking forward to EST but really disappointed. They didn’t seat us until 30 minutes after scheduled reservation even though our table was available. The service was extremely slow, and we had to track down our waiter multiple times. The steaks were excellent for half our party and cold and under cooked for remaining. They also forgot or brought late more than a couple of items we ordered.
I was dining alone and the service was outstanding. They took very good care of me and made excellent recommendations. Very knowledgeable and helpful on food and wine choices. I had the 35-day aged Kansas City and it was cooked to perfection.

A hidden gem in Monterey Park if you love a good steak. Pricey but sometimes you just want a good steak and this place knows how to do that. The service is outstanding, great wine recommendations and pairings.
We had a bottle of wine oysters, wedge salad, prime NY steak w special fries and bok Choy. Everything was delicious and the service was top notch. The steak and the fries were extra special tasting.
Our server Melchor was fantastic. He made great suggestions for our wine and meal. The quality of the beef was incredible. Definitely one of the top steakhouses around.
Had an outstanding meal with friends after Breeders Cup Races. Service was terrific, great food and wine selection was spot on. Can’t wait to return!

This is a good steak restaurant with good service but it is pricey.
