Everest Gurkha Nepalese

A lovely authentic nepalese restaurant, with welcoming and attentative staff. Me and my partner came here yesterday and having never tried nepalese food before, we were so impressed with everything we ordered. The service was spot on too. Our waitress was always prompt, and happily explained through items on the menu we were unsure of. All food and drinks came quickly, and the restaurant itself was clean and had an interesting nepalese style. Can't wait to come again.

Staff very helpful in ensuring we knew what we could east given our dietary requirements. Food was very flavourful. Set meal was a great balance of dishes, and the momo were so good we ordered a second portion. If in York again we would be open to returning for another meal.

Great small restaurant, shocked it's not more full. The staff are lovely and the food is incredible. First time we've been since the menu was revamped and the food is really flavourful. The mo-mo are incredible as is the chicken thukpa. Will definitely be going back soon.

Staff, fantastic. King prawn and chicken choila starters fantastic. Himalayan lamb (extra hot) was nothing short of fantastic. Quickly served but not rushed. The main meal portions could have been bigger but overall it’s a 10 out of 10 from Ian.

Very delicious Nepalese food. The service was very polite and excellent, the food was tasty and portions great. Ambience was very good. Friendly place for dinner.
