I ordered the chicken shawarma wrap, kufta, falafel, and a side of fries. Unfortunately, the fries were undercooked, which was my oversight. However, everything else was outstanding! The chicken was tender, full of flavor, and incredibly moist. The rice was well-seasoned, and the falafel had a perfect crispiness. The kufta was moist and flavorful, avoiding any dryness that I've experienced elsewhere, and the portion sizes were quite generous. The sauces were heavenly, and I can confidently say I will be making this restaurant a regular spot. It would be a shame to lose such a unique local gem just because it isn’t well-known. This is my second visit this week to a wonderful family-owned local business that truly knows how to nourish the community with their passion for food. This is definitely NOT a chain! Everything is always fresh, and the hospitality is outstanding, making it a great family-friendly atmosphere. The highlight was when I inquired about pickled turnips—they had them, and they were homemade! I enjoyed the beef, chicken, and shrimp served with rice and fire-roasted vegetables, along with two sides: hummus and seasoned vegetable salad. Absolutely delicious!
The food and service were exceptional! The gentleman at the counter was incredibly helpful. The beef was tender and juicy, while the chicken was perfectly smoky and just as tender and juicy. The rice was cooked to perfection, and the grilled vegetables were delightful. The ribs and seeds in the jalapeños come off easily for those who prefer a milder option. The food was prepared quickly to order. I highly recommend this place for anyone looking for quick yet delicious Middle Eastern cuisine!
The food was quite tasty, but I have to admit it's definitely overpriced considering the portion sizes. Additionally, our order was mixed up in two ways: we received the wrong sauce and didn't get the side salad we requested. The food was average. The rice lacked flavor, and I had high expectations based on the reviews, thinking this place would be the best I’ve ever tried. Unfortunately, it didn't live up to the hype. I ended up adding my own seasoning to the rice, but it still tasted mediocre. I don't think I'll be returning.
I dropped by for a meeting with the owner and decided to try the falafel platter, which came with veggies and hummus. It’s honestly the best falafel I've had in years—perfectly crispy on the outside and soft on the inside, with a delightful spicy kick. I can't wait to return and sample more from the menu!
I'm from Jordan, and I can confidently say that the food I ordered here is among the best Middle Eastern cuisine in the area. The only other place that rivals it is Alamodak in Philly. The chicken kebab here is fantastic! Adding garlic sauce would make this dish even more amazing. Good luck!
