It was nearly 20 years since I had tasted the delicious turkey pie that has made this spot famous and fabulous. I was not disappointed. No words can explain how damn good this food tasted. I couldn't leave without 2 cream puffs and a flaky lol Thankfully my kiddo loved the food also and helped me eat the enormous portions! And the staff were fabulous to boot also. All around 10s 10s 10s. This place will be around for another 40 years!! If you haven't had tried their turkey pies you are missing out it's an 8$ pie people! The food divine prices amazing head here!!!
Me and my friend went there and we ordered 2 meals of 2 pc chicken, fries, and gravy. Anyhow we had it paid for and we waited. In come cory he must work there I know him I saw him talking to the cook I had a bad feeling. We got our order and went home. Their was bubbles in the gravy someone spit in our gravy, and our chicken was froze solid so I’m thinking cory put the cook up to it… never will I ever step foot in that restaurant again…. Just trying to let people know that it wasn’t very nice…
Ordered a hot turkey deluxe. It's supposed to come with fries dressing and gravy. I asked for the gravy on the side. What I got was a plate full of fries covered in gravy with no dressing and a piece of bread underneath it all. No dressing barely any turkey no flavor.
Simply the best turkey around. They've got turkey lot pies, hot turkey sandwiches that come with a pile of fries, dressing, gravy, and peas! Super reasonably priced (about $10 a for the plate pictured) and their homemade flakies are a must have.

The name says it all! Fabulous Foods! Not posh just perfect home-style meals served with warm Newfoundland Hospitality! The Turkey Pies! Turkey Flip (turnover)! And oven-fresh baked turkeys everyday! Desserts! It's all simply FABULOUS!
Stopped in for supper and picked up a Turkey pie, and a giant flakie. Easy to get distracted by all the pastries and pies on display. Staff are always on hand, very friendly!
The restaurant is an excellent choice for take-out. The fish is always fresh and the portions are very generous. The baked goods are also delicious.
Can't go wrong with a turkey pie and a few turkey flips! Don't forget gravy for dunking! Sweet treats are yummy also
