After the disaster last time when we tried to book a table here, this time I made a reservation on-line AND followed up with a telephone call to confirm that they had received our booking and that they would be open on the night in...question (unlike last time They were... We parked hapharzardly in the small car park in the little hof and went in search of our reserved table,. We were a family group on covering three generations. The place was full and doing a brisk trade. The larger than life owner seated us at a table for which was a bit of a squeeze unfortunately. He then returned and in a quite overpowering, penetrating way, rushed to take our drinks orders. The ladies asked for a sweet red wine and our host immediately grabbed the bottle already placed on the table, opened it and started to serve. We didn't get to see the price of it until the bill came at the end of the evening. Anyway, we were very pleased with the quality of the food. We all shared a large platter of Mediterranean tapas as a combined starter and I followed up with a delicious plate of veal liver. The others also thoroughly enjoyed their various main courses. For dessert we enjoyed something on the house to be honest I forget what it was... To drink, I started with Weizen beer and followed up with a glass of Primitivo. Our host came back to our table on various occasions to check on how we were doing. Some of our party were really quite irritated with his extrovertive dominance and wished that we could have been served by one of the numerous waitreses cowering in the background... All in all we enjoyed our evening despite the things mentioned above. The last thing was the bill it came to an impressive Wow!!

My wife made an online reservation for a table for persons to celebrate a birthday. We received an email confirming our reservation so all was good. Imagine our horror and disgust to turn up and find the place to be in darkness, totally closed...with a nice sign informing guests that they were involved in some form of outside catering activity. As our party wondered what to do now, we saw at least other two cars arriving to be confronted with the same nasty surprise. Do you think that we'll be back soon???

We celebrated a farewell dinner for a colleague. Nice ambience and very friendly staff/host. The Mediterranean starter platter was rich and yummy with all that you would expect. Roasted Mediterranean vegetables, vitello tonato, melon and prosciutto or carpaccio. Freshly made and to the point. My...ribeye had a good quality and was made as ordered. I liked that it had a good size and that it was not too huge. Quality over quantity! Definitely a place to visit again

Bring time and good friends and you will get tremendous atmosphere and value for your Euros. Seasonal deli: Gänsebraten roast goose!

Its tipical restaurante with nice atmosphere... you can see the nice service with tasty dishes.. Its ma favorite outlet
