We decided to try the chicken pad thai with tamarind sauce (traditional style) and shared a Thai iced tea. You can customize the spiciness of your dish, and based on the server's recommendation, we opted for a level of 3 out of 5, which turned out to be just right for us, as we enjoy spicy food. Our order was prepared fairly quickly, and we paid from the comfort of our car. The food was delicious! The pad thai had a wonderful flavor with a perfect balance of sour, sweet, and salty. The noodles were a bit soggy, which is understandable for take-out. We also really enjoyed the iced tea, and in hindsight, we probably should have each ordered one instead of sharing. A fantastic new addition to Cranbrook! The red curry and drunken noodles were our favorites. It was the first time my kids tried Thai food, and they loved it. We'll definitely be returning. The owner is a very sweet and friendly lady. All I can say is that Creston really made a mistake letting this gem slip away!

I've been visiting this restaurant since it first opened. We make an effort to go at least once a week, or even more often for special occasions. The waitress, Crystal, and the rest of the staff are outstanding, and the kitchen team does a fantastic job. I highly recommend this place!

The food was excellent, and the service was outstanding. This family-owned restaurant features a warm and welcoming staff and owner. Had been a few months since visiting Family Thai restaurant and was disappointed. We always order the #32 which is a seafood medley and wonderful to dig into. The colouration of the dish was different and the flavours were way too muted.

I had an incredible experience with the Gluten Free Pad Thai at this restaurant. The server was very knowledgeable about gluten allergies. As someone with celiac disease, I have never had a reaction to their food.

amazing gluten free pad thai, I asked the server and she was very recognizable. I'm celiac and I never reacted with her eating there
