Since we had a group of 6, I wanted to make a reservation. Used the Open Table reservation system. When we arrived, there was no way to check in and a long line to order at the counter. It was very busy and few tables left. Some of our group went to save a table (just in case) while I tried to get some information about our reservation. I flagged down a woman who was bussing tables and asked about our reservation. She didn't know anything about it. She said we should just get in line. If we hadn't saved a table for ourselves, there would have been no tables left. We had an excellent meal and the rest of the service was good. But what is the point of making a reservation if none of the staff...
Had not been to this Famous Dave’s before. Had a party of 10 and made a reservation on Open Table. When we got there, they had no clue we were coming and a table wasn’t ready. As it turns out they had plenty of room and the place was an “order at the counter” and not by a waitress kind of place. No harm, no foul, but it would be good if they knew we were coming, never the less, incase the place was full. Food was very good as usual and would go back, however.
I have no idea why this restaurant appears on open table. it is a restaurant where they order at the counter and then grab a table. we showed up at 19:15 for our reservation and said that they had stopped to serve customers even though their closing time was 10 o'clock. They explained they were “maximized” for the day and could not serve customers anymore. disappointed and will no longer support famous daves restaurants. many other alternatives.
The staff was very nice, and I was actually happy to see that this is more self service where you order at the counter and they bring it to you. Other than that, my brisket and chopped pork were only lukewarm. I know that BBQ isn't cooked when you order it, however I was hoping for a hot meal.

Wonderful service and delicious food....always our family's favorite and we celebrated a graduation with family...thank you and stay safe.
