Acoustics: 1.5/5 terrible. We had to sit close together to be able to talk, and had great difficulty hearing the waiting staff Food: very good. They had bacalao croquetas as a special which were great. The two items I had selected were both unavailable, but the alternative we good. Price: expensive, but pretty good for King William Rd. Service: The two waitresses were great helpful, friendly and relaxed. There was a man wandering around who looked like he was the manager, he was a waste of space. He didn't put through our order for coffee, failed to bring the dessert menu, and took 15 minutes to bring the bill. Overall, nice, but not rushing back.
Went here on dinner invite from neighbours to celebrate significant birthday with some other of their friends. Food superb - fresh, flavoursome and yummy. Great concept where you could order our own dish or perfect for sharing. Staff helpful and friendly. Standouts were the pork belly, and the pumpkin dish. Tables full for a Saturday in this Goodwood cottage. Yes room can get noisy due to the wooden floors. They are moving to Carrington Street in the city so hope the ambience will transfer as well.
Faraja is a fantastic restaurant, that has a great menu with simply delicious and flavoursome dishes. The atmosphere is relaxed and the wine list has some great drops. Service is efficient, friendly and not pushy. Cant go wrong with the Duck and mushroom spring rolls, and arancini balls for starters and then the Goat curry, the nim jim chicken salad, and the soft shell crab for mains. Finish it off with the dessert tasting platter for 2. You wont be disappointed.
The Restaurant was full so we were glad we had booked.The Menu had an item that just said ' Feed Me'! So that is what we chose. It was a mouth watering delight with a number of dishes we had never experienced before. All extremely tasty. Unfortunately, there was too much and we could not do justice to the last dishes. Those we had were most memorable.Wine list was also interesting and exciting with many local wines to choose from.A truly memorable evening.

Fantastic food, full of flavour and spices, served for my birthday lunch. Waiters friendly and helpful. Roasted pumpkin was delicious, goat curry very tasty and not too hot, chicken absolutely gorgeous, tasting dessert plate very generous, and oh my gosh just the best! Not often do you get so many gluten free choices which we did today, and the dessert tasting plate was all gluten free. Will be back again and again and again!
Food was delicious and the decor is nice. Is a little bit noisy due to the floor boards. Nice wine menu. Service doesn't match the standard of the food though. The wait staff look like they don't really know what to do. When we sat down there was no mention of the food, a greeting or anything. 10 mins later the waiter came back to ask about drinks. For 7 people we had to share 1 drinks menu. Food is very yummy though.
It is always good to be back!! The new location in town is awesome. Loved the venue and how the elements are combined. The staff as lovely and welcoming as usual and the food was delicious! We had the crispy polenta, fish of the day (barramundi) and the spicy Thai chicken...loved all! Highly recommended!
Really nice food with some interesting options to choose from. Service was a bit cold upon arrival, however the waitress that served us throughout the night was lovely and very accommodating to a few little seating changes we had to make. Worth checking out for something a bit different.

Cozy seat next to the open fire, very welcoming. Menu interesting and extensive. More too and dining but not prohibitively expensive. Staff very friendly and knowledgable. Great place for friends to catch up or a romantic dinner. Will be back.
Visited as part of a group and got the chef's selection. We discussed our budget with the chef. The dishes just kept coming. We had to speak to the waiter and tell him that we were full. The food was delicious and the service was great.
