We stopped here on the way through town, because if the great reviews. They weren't wrong!!Excellent brisket and chicken.A regular serving is a half pound of brisket and half a chicken.Specify what you want, if you can't eat all that!!Perfect flavor for the brisket.Chicken was good, but the breast was a little dry. Sides were the usual offerings of potato salad, green beans, coleslaw, etc.The pit master/ owner is very friendly, as was all the staff.Quick service in a clean environment.I usually check out the bathroom before eating in a new place, because if the bathroom is nasty, what must the kitchen be like, which the public can't see??The bathroom was spotless!Highly recommend. The Mac and cheese was amazing one of my favorite Mac and cheese along with the brisket potato and that peach cobbler I crave! Alan is absolutely a delight and so pleasant very welcoming and takes very good care of his customers not many owners know the name of their customers so definitely a delight!! If your smart you know the best time to go is right at open the later it is the less food is left and it's always best right at opening! I'll always love this B-Bque over anything else we have in this town including that over dry Rudy's excuse for food

Ive been to cjs and cooper's and this place blows them away! Actually, CJS was good but this place was awesome. Coopers was the worst place I've been to in a long time. This is the real texas bbq in the area! Today, I had the brisket sandwich and the sausage. It's more smoked than other places. Do if you like it on the smokey side then get it. But, they have the best beef ribs hands down in the area. Call before you go because it's sometimes it sells out by noon. It's rated as top 50 in Texas btw.

I’ve tasted some bad barbecue in my days. But this was horrible. Everything the manager service was dry. An had an attitude. Got ice tea taste like Clorox exchange there for water. Taste like Clorox. The barbecue sauce just some tomato paste mix with I don’t know what. He’s awards that they won must have been when the grandfather was cooking.
