Farmhouse Cafe - Réservation de table

The waitress was nice, I had a Reuben sandwich which was very good. My partner had the potato pancakes (12 dollars) and they came with small amounts of sour cream and applesauce. There wasn't enough sauce for all of the pancakes so we asked for more and the waitress brought us additional sauce. It wasn't until we recieved the bill that we discovered that the (combined) roughly 30ml of sour cream and applesauce cost us 4 dollars (1/3 of the price of the dish) bringing the total to 16 dollars, which in my mind is quite a bit of money for some frankly quite soggy potato pancakes. It would have been nice if we at least got a heads up that there would be a charge. I will reiterate that my sandwic...

I don't even know where to start other than saying we were disappointed. This was our first time here. We were excited to see eggs Benedict on the menu but right as we were ordering the waitress informed us that there's no hollandaise sauce... How can you call it an eggs benny without sauce?!! The food was bland, no ice in drinks, got no lemon in my water, poached eggs all over cooked severely, way over priced for what it was, could have made better food at home. The waitress was nice to us but rude to people walking in and yelling across the restaurant, I get it your busy with it being father's day an all but fake it till you make it. Won't be back.

Needed some good old home-cooked food.Finished my laundry and tried this place that's next door to the Soap n Suds Laundromat.The food was fantastic and the service was excellent.I had the basic breakfast eggs, bacon, sausage with toastIf you are looking for a breakfast lunch place, then I recommend here.Reasonably priced. $16-$20Parking out front.

I don't know how you can call yourself a breakfast place when you offer eggs Benny but don't offer hollandaise sauce. The pan fries are just day old boiled potatoes and still hard. Staff was friendly. I had to ask for cream for my coffee as they automatically brought milk to the table. Réservez une table maintenant

Breakfast was Okay. Coffee was watery and the fried potatoes were a bit bland for my liking. Eggs and sausage was good as well as the sour dough toast. Service was great and very friendly. The washroom could use an update.

So so expensive for what you get.. food was soggy and unseasoned : We recognized the containers in the kitchen to be the Noname brand but everything was priced like it was made fresh in-house.

Google saiid this was the best breakfast in Parksville. If that’s true I feel sorry for the people that live here. Amazing service atmosphere but food was nothing special.

We always stop at the Farmhouse whenever we are in Parksville. Great food in a friendly atmosphere, with a plethora of novelty salt and pepper shakers. Réservez une table maintenant

Great local diner vibe... with smooth coffee. I enjoyed a delish eggs benny with homestyle hashbrowns.
