Faro Handcrafted Pizza And Tasting Room

We had our (small, 7 person) annual leadership retreat dinner at the Faro while we were staying at the Oak Bay Beach Hotel, and the experience was fantastic. The service was exceptional, everyone was happy with their food, and the atmosphere was perfect as the music wasn't too loud and we could hear each other and engage in conversation this was a HUGE perk for us! I'll share one last kudos to our server as she was engaged, knowledgeable and funny which added even more to our experience.

Shout out to Ambrosia who was the lone server on duty due to the snowfall. She handled it all with efficiency and aplomb, backed up by thoughtful and competent bar staff and of course, the chefs who made the food. One menu consideration for the fiuture: please bring back the tuna crudo appetizer. That was a winner!

We ordered off the Dine Around menu and were very pleased with the presentation and flavour of each dish and of our drinks. Our meals were so tasty, we left feeling very pleasantly full and our lovely server was awesome. Her humour matched ours and she was just made our experience at Faro top notch. Thank you.

FARO is a guaranteed delight for the taste buds! From grilled cauliflower salad to spectacular pizza options, it is a feast for the eyes as well! Wonderful Saturday night 'hot spot ', or any day of the week if you 're in search of a creative cocktail and scrumptious dinner. Go, eat, enjoy!

Michael is the finest server in well run favourite pizza place. We appreciate the warm reception and the fresh ingredients going into our pizzas. Looking forward to the patio being open in spring and who know maybe Ella the OBBH pooch will convince Faro to make some dog friendly tables! ?

Interesting Neapolitan style pizza. Great starters and non-pizza items. Extensive and affordable wine list. Pleasant space indoors and a lovely outdoor area for better weather. Take advantage of the valet parking service.

Dine out menu short rib) was amazing. Pizzas were just okay. I've had better. Surprised as that is their claim to fame. Server was very good and enjoyed his personality. Will return as liked the ambience.

Michael was our server and he was absolutely exceptional! We were exhausted and it was busy and he treated us like we were royalty! I think he is one of a kind and we can’t wait to come back again!
