Fat Mermaid - Réservation de table

As a local Valdezian I love to support local businesses. That being said, I feel every time I support the fat mermaid it is an utter waste of time and money. I have never eaten here and left happy with my experience or satisfied with the food. Its always mediocre at best, and extremely overpriced. As for the service, Every server I have ever had has been unattentive and has almost no personality at all. My partner and I ate breakfast there this morning and it was the straw that broke the camel 's back and led to this review. The menu lists a vegan burger but it 's only vegan if served as a lettuce wrap as the house-made buns aren 't vegan. Shouldn 't even call it a vegan burger to begin with if that 's the case. Additionally, there are two individual-use restrooms, so there 's no sense for them to be gendered. But since they are, you end up with long lines for one while people breeze through the other.

Grilled halibut was a bit overcooked but the deep fried cod was way overdone, I gave up on it in the end; my guess is that it was cooked earlier then tossed back in the frier to reheat. Service was fine until I gave the wrong answer to the 'how 's your meal? ' question. More positively, their coleslaw was superb.

Near the docks, amazing food and amazing service! Even though the mosquitos were straight up disrespectful, our server Albina was so cordial and sweet! When we asked what her favorite items were on the menu, her recommendations were A+! Go for the Thai Pizza and Chipotle Alfredo! Réservez une table maintenant

Very nice service, quick to take our order, food came out quickly and our waitress kept our waters full. Fish tacos were ok, could have had more fish but they were tasty. The Mermaid burger with fries was delicious. The meat was cooked perfectly.

I go to this place sometimes just for the onion rings. They're the best I've had in recent memory. We order pizzas and burgers there too though, and those are usually pretty great. One of my favorite restaurants in Valdez.

The meat lover pizza was delicious!! Every inch of crust had just the right amount of crunch and the toppings were fresh and tasty. The large is enough for 2+ people and will satisfy your tastebuds no questions asked.

Came here immediately upon arriving in Valdez. No wait, great view. My friend and I both ordered tacos and split a salad and the food was filling without being heavy. Réservez une table maintenant

@TheWanderingBrocks Place was busy so service was a little slow. Pizza was good, I’d go back if back in the area. Seemed to have a huge local atmosphere.

Delicious food and friendly, efficient wait staff. We had the Halibut fish chips, breaded and also grilled.
