Fat Tuesdays - Réserver une table

We dared at Fat Tuesday looking for real Cajun cuisine and they were not disappointed. Best authentic Cajun food in DSM! The staff is friendly and the food is excellent. Cheesy grits only melt well in your mouth, fried okra is addictive just want more, tasteful and soft Jalapeno Cornbread, yummy cajun mac n cheese; they're just the sides. The pages are large. I had the Etouffee and my husband got the Jambalaya both had some warmth, but oh so good. Great food, good prices and servings. Thanks for a great meal. We look forward to a return trip.

These pictures were not originally to the post, but to the family back home in Louisiana. I'm in Iowa for a job and found this place. Nothing like finding somewhere that reminds you of home! I'm here a few times now and my taste buds are about joy every time. Everything gets a double plus all the way to tartaric acid. The taste is authentic South cuisine and I'm so glad you found this place. I'll be back until my job is over. Oh, and they also had wine, although it wasn't on the menu. Hope you try it!!

The first time I went here, I enjoyed sitting and waiting for my food. The ladies in the kitchen were beautiful and welcoming! I ordered the catfish, Cajun Fritten, Cajun green beans, green and fried pimples. Everything was so good! Definitely, she's gonna get my rotation! This is definitely a restaurant everyone should know about!!

Great food, well seasoned and cooked. Place is clean with good atmosphere. Not many places offer Cajun food in Des Moines and I don't think any after as good of a selection or food this good. And if you like spicy ask for the hot sauce basket
