The restaurant is good, the food is good. The only thing we didn't like is the mandatory tip, which is 8.5 pounds. We ordered grilled meat and it came with bread, but they charged extra for additional loaves of bread. This was a first for us, as we have never been charged for bread at a restaurant before. The service was not up to par either. Overall, we would not recommend this restaurant to anyone, especially if they are planning on driving a long distance afterwards. The food is so good, once they put the order in front of you, the smell and the taste will take you back to Iraq and the real Iraqi food!! I live in Dallas and have to drive almost 45 mins to reach this place, but it's worth it . This is my favorite place to go when I am craving baklava! It is absolutely delicious and the owners and staff are extremely kind and welcoming. I usually get takeout and the prices range from $10 to $20 per person. The food, service, and atmosphere all get a perfect 5-star rating from me. I highly recommend trying the Falafel Plate, Hummus, Baklava, and Chicken Shawarma.
This place took the crown for my fiancé and my favorite restaurant. We tried the Chicken Shish Tawook and were blown away. Highly highly HIGHLY recommend this beautiful Iraqi restaurant!
