My wife and I visited this Asian restaurant for dinner one evening after reading some positive reviews online. My wife ordered the Chicken Broccoli ($10) and we started with the Chicken Spring Rolls ($3.95) as an appetizer. I opted for the Combo Pad Thai, which came with shrimp, beef, and chicken ($10.95). I must say, everything was delicious! We even requested that our meals be prepared without MSG. This is one of the few times I've had Pad Thai and didn’t feel the need to add chili sauce, which, in my opinion, speaks volumes about the quality and flavor of the food. I highly recommend trying this place if you're looking for fresh, high-quality Asian cuisine. Thank you for reading!

Fawn's Asian Cuisine is a small independent restaurant. We'll be right there when they were opened on Saturday morning at 11:00. We had no reservation, but they were quickly able to sit six of us easily. I started with her crabs. They were really big, freshly made and had a very crisp bowl. For my duck I ordered the combination Lo Mein. The taste of the sauce was fresh ginger! The noodle dish contained large pieces of beef, chicken and generously dimensioned shrimp. It was a huge part, and I could take half of it home. Great prices and good food!
One of my favorite restaurants in Des Moines. Fresh made potstickers need to be ordered when you sit down! Everyone I have met her for lunch or dinner enjoys it, haven't had a dish I didnt like. My favorite is the paradise rice, rice, pork, coconut and other ingredients are freind in a big ball, then smashed and served as a lettuce wrap, with mint and cilantro .
Great eats and authentic! Edit... 4-28-22... I love this place and the people. I've been coming here for years and it had continually been great. But the carry out only nonsense is overdue to cease. Changing my rating down until you reopen. Today marks my very last order. I won't come back until you open up the dining area again. This is not good.
Last night ordered Papaya salad and Wonton soup (no noodles). Small portions for both but hubby loves the papaya salad. Soup was way too salty and had only 3 wontons, a few carrot slices, large cuts of white onion and bamboo shoots. The wontons were yummy though, if only they added some bok choy or other veggies, and more wontons. And less salt.
