the first time goes and won't be my last. the experience and atmosphere was excellent. friendly staff, cleaner area and the terrace was perfect to enjoy my hot pizza pipe I ordered. for me if they just want to enjoy a piece of pizza with family or friends. or in the round they need some time for themselves and simply enjoy an salad with a piece then I recommend fellinis pizza in decatur. small parking space, but the time and effort for eating and worth the atmosphere.
Fellini's has been for years my go to pizza establishment for years that I have personally found to be the closest taste to a NYC pizza. But with their last score being an 80 and the last pizza I purchase looking as if the burnt it a little, may have me considering to find a new pizzeria. I am driving from Lithonia to the location in Decatur to pick up and not to mention the pie is NEVER cut equally, they need to get it together.
Generous size slices that's reasonably priced. Delicious pizza. Fellini's is bright, plenty of seating (including outside), good staff. I just discovered Fellini's 6 months ago and this is the first real pizza I've had since moving to the Atlanta area February 2020. Real pizza oven not your typical chain pizza restaurant with the conveyor belt oven.
The quality of fellini's has really diminished in recent years...I was once trapped in an elevator in my apartment with nothing but a large pepperoni pizza from fellini's and a 2 liter of coke and I ate the whole thing waiting to get rescued. The comfort that pizza gave me was undeniable! I don't believe I would say the same today....so very sad
