A friend and I visited this restaurant today for a quick bite to eat and a place to sit before heading home. I ordered a torte and a hot chocolate, while my friend asked for a glass of hot water so she could make tea. Unfortunately, when the hot water was served, the older male worker (possibly the manager) made a big deal out of it and we were very embarrassed. Although we were willing to pay for it, the way we were treated was completely unacceptable. We understand the restaurant may have policies about outside food and drinks, but there are polite ways to enforce them. The way we were humiliated in front of others was not professional. I love to come here after my shopping to just cool and enjoy a hot strong creamy latte and a hot chocolate for my daughter and pamper her with a cupcake and the fantastic vanilla disc. yum yum yum. hubby loves her sausage rolls and walnut coffee rolls. they have a large selection of cakes, baked etc. and fantastic customer service. very professional always with a smile offer coffee cards and they make them feel really good by congratulating them have a free coffee. amazing girls behind the counter that don't treat you like a number, but your names. fergusons plarre bäckerei is located in the food dish of altona gate shopping center is down the best fergusons plarre I have been. the customer service is phenomenal, eating is great and the cakes are delicious! I would like to thank sophie and care that they are so helpful in ordering a tailor-made birthday cake. they could help me quickly organize a last minute surprise birthday cake, although I had missed the shortcut time on one of the busiest weeks of the year (Motherday). I would like to thank them very much for their care and aesthetics. it is not often that they meet people who really want to help. also they have really good coffee :d

Situated in the middle of the food court at Altona Gate Shopping Centre, this is a great location to sit in comfortable seats, have a break and people watch. The coffee is excellent.....hot,...strong and very tasty. Also, there is a great selection of cakes, pastries, pies and pasties, etc and the service is very friendly and polite. The coffee prices are the cheapest in the food hall and they have coffee cards as well, so you get a free coffee with multiple purchases. Give it a try! Réservez une table maintenant

I enjoy coming to this restaurant after shopping at Altona Gate. The coffee here is excellent and the cakes are delicious. Their pies, pasties, and sausage rolls are also very tasty. The service is fantastic, with the staff bringing your food and coffee pretty quickly. The atmosphere is always lively and packed with people.
