"Quaint little resturant, excellent food and a nice range on the menu. Minor point was the draft blowing through the resturant from the front door."

Visited for a birthday lunch, food was well presented and very tasty. My only slight gripe is that the eton mess portion was served in a small glass and the ice cream wasn't really adding anything to it. Service was very good we even managed to get a parking space at the rear of the restaurant. All in all a really good experience and would recommend this restaurant to others.

Incredibly generous and helpful staff! Came in for a last desperate attempt to buy some pancetta and bartender personally went to the kitchen and came back with a pot of it for us. Will be returning asap for a proper meal as everything looked and smelled amazing.

Enjoyed a family meal for husbands retirement. Food was excellent. Staff were lovely, however restaurant was very busy so had to repeat our requests and wait a while for service. Otherwise would recommend. Enjoyed the three course Sunday Roast menu.

I have been many times... I just feel the food lacks something. Went on Thursday, so it was not overly busy, but the waitress wasn't very friendly... you felt like they just wanted you to leave. The overall atmosphere was not great, too bright.
