I think that Fibber McGees has the makings of a great restaurant. The bones are all there.
When we arrived we were seated in the back dining room and I immediately noticed a lack of ambience. Some music would have made a huge difference. The decor is a little tired and lacking oomph. That being said the waitress was lovely and quick with a smile and helpful attitude.
We ordered the ribs for entree and despite being cold in the middle they were delicious. I moved onto the rump with blue cheese butter and bernaise sauce. Tender and delicious. Accompanied with blue cheese mash and washed down with a Guinness it was quite lovely. Not the best I have ever had but not bad.
I will return one day...

Avait les 500g Ribeye et les côtes de boeuf cuites lentes pour le dîner. La nourriture a pris un certain temps à sortir, mais le steak d'âge sec en valait la peine. Très gentil et salé avec beaucoup de sélection de côtés. Les côtes étaient énormes et savoureuses, la purée avec du fromage bleu était excellente, la salade avait trop d'oignon rouge sur elle. Globalement délicieux!

Pass on desserts though. This place does mains perfectly but leederville has so many nicer desserts for a sweet bite afterwards, if you have the room for it

Had the 500g ribeye and the slow cooked beef ribs for dinner. The food took a while to come out but the dry aged steak was worth it. Very nice and salty with ample selection of sides. The ribs were huge and tasty, the mash with blue cheese was great, the salad had too much red onion on it though. Overall delicious!

Charmant petit pub irlandais. On se sent comme à la maison, très traditionnel. Meilleure nourriture irlandaise à Perth. Parfait pour l'hiver, vous devez essayer un tarte délicieux!
One of the best full Irish breakfasts I've had in Perth if not the best..don't think the photo even does it justice! Especially that delicious soda bread and black pudding
