we were to be hosted as a big group (9 people) in the fichtner’s. the restaurant made a nice impression at the beginning, but became increasingly unpleasant by the increasingly strange and intrusive owner. when we were led to our table, there was no chair, so we took one of an uncovered and unoccupied neighbours. followed the first order of the owner who complained that we did not ask if we could take the chair. when we wanted to order, we were first praised by the schollenfilet, which was unfortunately out. the restaurant fichtners is located in the middle of wheningsted / sylt. a reservation, especially at weekends, is recommended. especially beautiful you sit in the winter garden. the restaurant fichtners offers "honourable kitchen for honest prices". the dishes taste good, there is no chichi on the teller, the quantities are sufficient, the prices fair. especially recommended is the dish "half duck with cracks and red cabbage". according to map, this court is always on Saturdays.

significantly less stiff than the competition at the village pond next door. also you really have to give the order something special (e.g. burger with sweet potato pots). Also very reasonable.The fifth star is unfortunately not because the waiting time for the - then very fine - was dessert with >30 minutes then very long.

we go every holiday on sylt to herr fichtner. eating has a very high level, the service is personal and very friendly. Moreover, this is locally very child-friendly.
