That said, I found the fajitas to be lacking the authenticity I was hoping for. Like many fajitas I've encountered in the Midwest, these were more reminiscent of a stir-fry than traditional Tex-Mex. The portion of meat was quite small—just 2 to 3 ounces—paired with a hefty serving of onions and bell peppers. With a few sesame seeds and some soy sauce, you could easily mistake it for a dish from Panda Express. Authentic Tex-Mex fajitas, in my experience, are made with skirt steak cooked over an open flame, served medium, and presented on a plate alongside the veggies rather than mixed in. This is my favorite Mexican restaurant! The staff are always friendly. I encountered a slight issue on my most recent visit due to time constraints, but once they realized we had been waiting for a while, they quickly got my food out. The prices are reasonable, and I always leave feeling very satisfied. There is usually enough parking available, though it can get tight when the restaurant is busy. You might run out of spots if they reach full capacity.

The food was great. But I wasn’t happy with the staff the overall seemed annoyed with me and my party. But my main issue is I had my daughter with me and a staff member decided to take her out of her highchair without even asking my permission. Straight up unbuckled her and grabbed her out of her seat. And that rude. I have never met the women and I was upset that someone just thought that was okay

Very disrespectful, they ignored us , and catered to the people that came after us They were 5 waiters that walked right by us to either clean tables , or talk toOther customers ?. It felt racially motivated as I’m black and my partner is white. Ignored by eye contact , and for about 30 min , they brought chips and salsa 30 min later .? May what you give , return back to you . You can never go wrong at Fiesta! The bartender/manager is phenomenal. Whether you are dining in or eating out, they take great care of you. Their service is prompt, and the food is fresh. Their gold shaker margaritas are great. You'll enjoy a family dinner or just sitting at the bar. You can't go wrong!

One of the best Mexican restaurants I’ve been to in the Des Moines area. They had a good range of salsa with different spice levels and the meat in both the burrito and tacos was suuuper juicy. We even saved some for leftovers so we could enjoy again later. Will for sure be back!Food: 5/5

Been here a few times, bartender/manager is friendly and welcoming. Had chicken and steak taco few times and thought the choripollo was pretty good here too. Shrimp diabla was also a winner but will make you sweat. Réservez une table maintenant

The food here is always delicious. My wife and I done here every couple of months or so. The service is great. Chips and salsa are complimentary. They have amazing fajitas. I highly recommend giving them a try.
