My wife and I were visiting Mount Dora in search of a new home and stumbled upon this cool spot on our way back. The patio was nice, the area quiet, and the waitress was friendly. However, our experience took a turn when we received our food. I ordered a sausage sandwich and my wife got the kids sliders with fries. The fries, cucumber salad, and coke seemed safe, but the sausage in my sandwich was pink and undercooked, and the sliders were so undercooked that we could see slime inside the meat. Despite eating a few bites before realizing the issue, we were worried about getting sick from eating raw pork and beef. 1. Sweet hots: The idea was great, but unfortunately, these had no sweet or hot flavor at all. The dipping sauce was tasty and necessary.
2. Chicago dog: It was pretty good, but the casing lacked the snap that is expected (it was soft like store-bought hot dogs).
3. Skirt steak: The steak was cooked perfectly and seasoned well with what seemed like DanOs, which was good. However, there was no salt or pepper on the steak (they should use it on all steaks). The vegetables served with it were mushy and lacked seasoning.
4. Drunken beef sandwich: The beer cheese and au jus were delicious and necessary. However, the steak and onions were unseasoned. The bun was also untoasted.

One of my favorite restaurants in the area. If you like mushrooms or fried green tomatoes make sure you try them. Our server told us they are made from scratch right down to the dressings and sauces. They did not disappoint. Fish tacos were awesome for dinner as well as the drunken steer. We got togo boxes because we had to try the banana foster crepe. Do yourself a favor get a togo box and order this dessert. We will be back. This restaurant is dog friendly so bring your furry friend along with you! We will be back and will be bringing friends with us!
This place is a gem! The food is OUTSTANDING! We stopped in for lunch with my dog this week. We had a fried shrimp basket and the shrimp were easily colossal size, along with the shaved beef sandwich with beer cheese. Easily the best beef sandwich i’ve had since i was last at Mothers in New Orleans. The beef had great flavor with an au jus containing debris. They are also doggie friendly with a special menu just for our canine friends. The food really out classes it’s location but i gotta say, i’ll continue to come back here when i can.

We were in town for the first time on a day trip and wanted a place to eat outside of the hustle and bustle of downtown. Found this place on Google and decided to try it out. It was worth it. Staff was extremely friendly a.d although the seating was outdoor, the shade of the trees and nice breeze made it comfortable. The food was good as well,we had the burger, tacos and fish sandwich. All of it was good, including the shrimp appetizer. It's not fancy here, but it's also not a bad place for a quick bite.
Our family went to dinner here tonight and had an amazing time! The food, service, and atmosphere were all fantastic. It's a great place overall. And they even have misters and fans to help keep you cool in the summer. I would definitely recommend this restaurant if you're in Mt. Dora!
Leslie did a fantastic job serving us. Loved the atmosphere, dog friendly, they even have a menu for your pet!!! The food was great we had the fried chicken special and fish n chips, the salad served with it was way more than I expected. Will be back!
Very friendly and welcoming place , The food is amazing, and the Mount Dora burger is a fire. The crab cakes are awesome, too. This place is a must when visiting Mount Dora.
