Filomena Cucina Rustica

This place is just not as good as it used to be! I grew up around the corner and visited a lot and now I don’t live close by and decided to stop by for a visit and they sat our 3 people at a small table in the bar section. We had no room on the table for anything it was super crowded and the service was far from great! We sat waiting for a bit just to order our drinks and then our food. And the food…it was just okay. Not as good as I remember it being. Now they were entertaining a big wedding party, so maybe it was just a busy night for them. But if so then maybe bring more staff in or close part of the restaurant? I won’t be going back unfortunately.

My wife and I always enjoy our dining experience at Filomena Cucina Rustica. From the warm and welcoming atmosphere to the cheerful and attentive staff, this is the perfect place for a relaxing night out. The plating of their food is very nice and their dinner portions prices are comparable to many other restaurants in the area. During our recent visit, I enjoyed the Chicken Picatta, which was sautéed with garlic, Italian parsley, capers, in a lemon-white wine butter sauce served over capellini pasta. The meal came with a very nice house salad and bread. Give this restaurant a try if you are in the mood for delicious Italian comfort food.

first time here. was told by many people how good it is. personally I think it's a little overrated. to start, the parking lot can be chaos, good luck finding a spot. the atmosphere inside wasn't anything special. service was so-so. long waits for drinks and salads. I got the salmon for dinner. large portion with plenty of vegetables. downfall though... flavor... my salmon didn't taste like much other then butter and same with the veges. I wasn't impressed with the other meals that we ordered, the pasta meals are pricey for just pasta. honestly not a restaurant that wowed me and won't be back to.

Forget service and atmosphere because they are secondary to the food. I have been going to this restaurant for a long time and have always loved their cuisine. But this last time was phenomenal. I had pescatore risotto and it was absolutely delicious. The salad was absolutely delicious. I know that sounds silly because a salad is a salad but not really. The dressing was phenomenal.This is a great place to eat. I recommend it to everyone. Réservez une table maintenant

I have been here a few times with work colleagues but now I’ve had a date night here and wow let me tell you a Saturday night here is the BEST! Great music and some of the best food you’ll ever have. Honestly I cant wait to go back! 10/10 everything was fantastic and the staff were great! Look over my pics and you’ll see some of the amazing food I had! Mussels, calamari, lobster ravioli, and a phenomenal lava cake.

We had a great meal last night, me and my wife. Would be definitely coming back. My wife had the veal with crab and I had the salmon with crab meat. Apps were great, drinks were great. Food came out fresh, hot and quick. Could not name one single complaint. Keep up the good work to all the workers , our server was great also. Do yourself a favor and make a reservation even on a Thursday night. It can get quite busy. Staff were attentive and cleared plates as we went. I was able to find a suitable keto salad and I added extra chicken. Meals are huge so expect to take some home. It is a tad loud at the restaurant especially when karaoke is happening at the bar.

I only go to Filomena's for an event such as a holiday party or someone's birthday. I find the food to be just average and not worth the average $25-30 a plate. The service is fine and the waiters, bus boys and managers are attentive and polite. The table that they set up for our holiday dinner was very nice and for that I thank them. This place has a nice atmosphere we order several different dishes ranging from pastas to seafood to steak. The food was so so, the atmosphere was nice and our server was excellent. There were eight of us in our party and pretty much everyone had the same opinion.
