This restaurant is quite pricey, but the food is absolutely fantastic. The portions are generous (not excessively large), so come prepared to spend, but also to savor every bite. The cocktails are well-made—not the cheapest, but definitely not skimped on. The staff is exceptional as well. We plan to come back, either with a Groupon or after refinancing our mortgage! Definitely try the steam bowls; the Haida Gwaii and Clayoquot options were outstanding and packed with ingredients.
The menu clearly identifies which items were gluten-free. Not much, but safe enough. When I identified myself as a gf, the server asked if it was lifestyle, allergy or celiac. He was very helpful in my decision. I had shells as an appetizer and the double pork chop as a duck. Not much in the type of dessert options, but the sorbet was delicious. It was a great meal in a beautiful environment. The best of all – I didn't get sick.
The wait staff at this restaurant are friendly, and the happy hour prices are fantastic, alongside delicious food. Emma stands out as an exceptional host, bringing her warm personality and a special knack for helping guests create the perfect meal and timing the service perfectly. She truly excels in customer service!
