It was a great place when it started, but not anymore. I don't know how many new owners had this place, but go on the hill and unfortunately they lost me as regular customers. Quality and quantity are bad, while prices are awfully high. Customer service needs some training. These girls behind the counter have a kind of attitude you can see on their faces without having to say a word. I liked the previous setting where you could see what was actually placed in your plate and how much. I ordered CHOPPED Brisket. I guess the cook got tired when I chopped, so I got half. The brisket was mostly tasteless and dry. The sauce wasn't what I expected. I wasn't a big fan of beans, but they weren't terrible. The Brunswick stew was a respirator. The first bite took my breath because I could only taste vinegar. Customer service is not available. Place your order, pick up your seats, pick up your drink and take a seat until they bring your food. Don't wait long. If you need a box or even want, you need to get up and get it yourself. $40 for two and considering that the only thing they do is take your money and bring your food, you would expect a little service. This is probably one of the most disappointing restaurants I have ever been to. Aside from the fact that the ?staff? was playing while we watched our food sit on the rack, when we got the food it was close to inedible. The half rib plate my fiancé ordered was chewy and very poor quality. He was able to eat maybe a quarter of 2 ribs before giving up completely. My chicken strip platter was just as bad. The chicken tasted like it was cooked in bad grease, and the chicken was chewy as well. I got sick shortly after eating them. I never leave reviews on restaurants but this was ridiculous and if I had a complaint I wouldn?t even know who to tell because the front staff was all carelessly playing...
I and my son ordered 1/2 rack ribs tonight, my husband and a brisket sandwich. To begin with the glasses were dirty, sticky. Every part of our meal was very sub par. The meat is NOT fresh. It did not taste or visually looks fresh. The onion rings were fried three times and hard like a rock. The beans looked old, they didn't taste. Overall, a terrible meal will not be back. Don't understand the good reviews. Bill was about $70.

Got the 2 meat combo platter with brisket, pork, fried okra, onion rings and cornbread. Add 2 regular drinks and for less than $25 USD my world got rocked! I always heard that Georgia has some of the best barbecue but to actually taste it... If you are traveling on I-75 South, stop right here. If you're local, stop right here. Cause it would be a sin to pass up food this good.
I ordered the grill pulled pork nachos loaded. Let me tell you the young lady behind the counter 100% competent in her job. I have the best nachos of my life here! This is a new point that has been added to my travels! Thanks for the great food and professional staff!
The fabulous parents at Excel Christian Academy provided lunch for the Excel staff today. Wow...the food was amazing! I am looking forward to eating at your restaurant with my friends and family.
The food was delicious! My husband said the BBQ was good and the tea was good. The vegetables were true, southern cooking. The staff was super friendly.

I was at the new restaurant. Not the truck. It was great food and great service. Very reasonable prices. I will definitely be back.
