I completely agree with the 1 star review below. I don't understand how people can give this place 5 stars, especially Russians. I have been to Russian restaurants in Philadelphia, NYC, San Diego and Walnut Creek and the food at Firebird is simply disgusting. The whole place is shabby and untidy: the couch we sat on was all ripped, the walls were all scratched up and the glass of the window of their display was broken. Yuck! Service: Dine in
Great kitchen, improved design, nice cultural representation and delicious Russian cuisine which gets better with time. A place to go for real experience. Service may need some attention to the customer, however still on relevant level for the stars given. Would highly encourage to increase weekend lunch menu selection for out of town costumers. Overall, THANK YOU! Solid 4 stars.

I've been wanting to try this place for years. And today I finally did! My husband and I shared a beef stew with a side of grilled zucchini. The stew was very tasty. Warmed up your stomach. I also got the kvas drink, a peach soda, yum! It the perfect, hearty meal to feed us. Réservez une table maintenant
First time having Russian food and it was quite flavorful! The service was good and I had no problems with the portion size or flavors! Everything was tasty, I especially liked the mushroom dumplings and it was my first time having borscht which was a light, flavorful soup!
They have reopened under a new name. People thought they were Russian but they are Romanian and Moldavian. Food gets better and better. The Cherry Blintzes are amazing. They also have a great Moldavian Wine. They are back with a new name but same great food and service!
so relax, quiet, peacefully wonderful! Not as loud as most places, very friendly atmosphere! I love what's on the menu! I have to admit that this is my favorite place to enjoy the night and your guest service is the best!
