Firehouse Subs Henry St

I usually don't review chains but I wanted to try these subs since it's the first Firehouse Subs in Rochester. I also like that they donate proceeds to first responders. I visited around 1pm on a Monday and it was not busy, no one in line in front of me and maybe two cars in the drive thru. The service was friendly but painfully slow. Also, they have a sign on the door clearly stating you will not be served if you aren't wearing a mask; however, all three workers behind the counter had masks on but that were below their nose. I could have given a higher rating but with the lack of bottles of barbecue and hot sauces like the other locations I?ve tried I found that a bit disappointing. They did have packets of hot sauce, better than nothing. I ordered a smokehouse beef and cheddar brisket sub to go. I like that they pack it in an easy to travel carton.The sub traveled well and I added my own barbecue sauce when I got home. I like the soda machine so you can customize your drink. The staff was very friendly and I?ll definitely be back.

First time and the sub is amazing! I got the cheddar brisket at the recommendation of staff. Place looks clean and brand new. I would give 5 stars if I didn?t have to listen to Covid news during my lunch- takeout next time

I used to eat here all the time in DC and I am so glad we have one up here now. This is one of the best sub places ever in my opinion!
