Extremely disappointing!. Simply put this cafe needs one VERY VERY BIG reality check! $15 odd for a satay chicken burger on turkish bread with a side of chips $3 extra... Actually served on a crusty bread roll ? ok no problem, but at least advise the customer you do not have turkish bread if indeed that was the problem. The chicken, with no exaggeration was aprox 30-35 grams, it did not even cover a quarter of the bread roll, it was however supplemented with a good handful of mixed lettuce leaves. If I wanted a salad sandwich I would of ordered a salad sandwich! as for the satay, well lets just say we are closer to the north pole than anything remotely connected to satay! $3 extra...read mor...
Went to Vodafone @ Garden City to sign for a new contract. While they are checking my company credit, I got some spare time to go out for a coffee. Did not feel like to have coffee at Gloria Jean so walked down further to this nearest café. Felt very thirsty so I tried the coffee frappe. Not a bad choice but it was so plain and weak and supposed that I could not complain about cold drink like that would be very strong coffee flavour. However, there were only two staff working behind the counter, I could imagine the wait-time if it was at rush hours and that was why there were negative response from other reviews. Well, no comment.....
Smoothie or Frape`. I am very disappointed with the smoothie we ordered. I asked for a 'Mixed Berry Smoothie ' and unfortunately ended up with a glass of ice chunks and some mixed berry. There was practically no berry just enough to colour the ice. The drink was flavourless and the ice was chunky, not a smoothie I can assure you. The coffee was cold probably because it was made first. The staff were friendly, but not in touch with the business or the customer.
I have the wrong cake. no problem. she grabbed it on the counter where instead courtesy to accept the mistake accused me of ordering another and tried to calculate me for the right. I insisted that it was her fault and that was unprofessional. the only reason for the 2 points is because a junior gave it to me without paying under the duress of her man who gave her a look that could kill. coffee was okay. nothing special. the cakes were dry.

Terrible!! There was about 8 customers in the cafe, with just a family of 3 in front of us ordering a high tea. We wanted a coffee, 2 pieces of ready cut cake and a smoothie. We waited about 20 mins, the mixed berry smoothie wasn't nice at all, it had some funny looking brown stuff around the edge. The cake was ok but it was pre-made so no effort on their behalf!
terrible! there were about 8 customers in caffe, with only one family of 3 before us order a high tee. we wanted a coffee, 2 pieces finished cut cake and a smoothie. we waited approx. 20 minutes, the mixed berry bag was not nice at all, it had some funny brown things around the edge. the cake was in order, but it was prefabricated so no effort in their name!
Diana. I hate giving the thumbs down to any cafe or eating establishment but in this case I think it to justified, but only on the coffee (I didn't try anything else) the coffee had a sour taste, unexceptable when you are charging $4.20 for a small flat white. The service was not particularly friendly most of the tables were not cleared from previous patrons
not to drink. after the payment for coffee and cake I asked after a few glasses of lead water and was said I had to buy bottled water because they no longer tap water. Nice.
