I really adore this little restaurant. The food is consistently excellent, but I usually end up ordering the Dungeness crab and artichoke sandwich—it's fantastic! They don’t serve fries since the café is located in a historic building that can’t accommodate fryers. The service is always quite good, too.
I was pleasantly surprised! I visited an old town café for what I expected to be a typical breakfast (and I absolutely love old towns), but our meal was anything but ordinary! We had the cured beef, and you could tell it was definitely homemade—flavorful and delicious! We also enjoyed a bagel.
Pleasantly surprised! Came in for a typical breakfast in an old town cafe (which I love old down towns btw) and there was nothing typical about our breakfast!!! We had the corned beef and hash it was definitely homemade, flavorful and tasty!! And a Bagel
We came in at the tail-end of Sunday brunch rush. They were out of several things, which isn’t surprising since we came in late. Our server was very friendly and apologetic and worked with us to find replacement orders. The food was wonderful and filling! Réservez une table maintenant
I can't think of a better place for breakfast (other than Tiffany's, of course than upstairs at the 1st St. Cafe in Benicia. Delicious coffee with a view of the bay. Very friendly staff. Going to return as soon as I can so that I can try the baked goods.
Great hole in the wall breakfast and lunch place. Always busy, outdoor seating on sidewalk. They offer pastries as well. Service is always friendly and fast. I 'm posting the menu.
