beautiful ambiente! it has a domestic feeling, good for families and couples. it feels like you're eating in a house and the service was so nice. I ordered the scallops that were delicious! scallops were perfectly cooked and I loved the texture. for the first I had the barramundi I was told, that was the house special. it was delicious, quite fill out! the curry sauce was very delicious over the fish and rice dipped. the flounder was also fantastic, very light. both my elders thought the flounder was the best leading role. we had dessert the chocolate pudding and the cream brûlée- the brûlée was one of the best I had, it had strawberries on the floor. the pudding was beautiful and unexpected...

Fish at the Rocks is a Sydney institution which serves fresh seafood in a cozy and welcoming environment near Millers Point. I tasted the scallops and blue-cod fillet during my visit two days ago. The huge blue-cod fillet was tender, springy and juicy and the thick purée and tomato base did not overwhelm its freshness. Overall great dinner. Service was friendly and attentive. Great wine list. Restaurant is small but noise level is not loud, only minor complaint is it can get warm. We both had the chowder to start with and the branzino stuffed with prawns as the main. Chowder was rich with the seafood plentiful and perfectly cooked. Branzino was superb and the side of rice with red curry very good. Overall great experience

We just popped in, and it was a mistake on Sunday night, there was no table inside but it was fine as we originally wanted to sit out. The waitresses were very nice, we ordered the entree platter for two and absolutely everything on it was perfect. Our main course was the crustaceans platter which smelled, looked amazing and cooked to perfection.
