Work in the area, been waiting for something to fill the void that Lettuce Eat left. The new Simply Fit Cafe has some kinks to work out. For the Chicken Caesar Wrap- Caesar dressing is not listed on their website ordering system only has the option for honey mustard or BBQ sauce. Caesar is not mentioned as an ingredient or listed as an option. The wraps and burgers are small for $9.25 and don't come with chips or a salad. They have done a great job taking over for the restaurant that used to be in its place. The food is fresh, the people are all nice and personable. It is obviously locally owned by people from Carteret! It's nice to see the talent of the town showing off what they got! I hope in the future they add more wraps to the menu, I think that is the one thing I would like more of on the menu. Wraps are awesome and I prefer them over anything with a bun. They're off to a great start and I'm sure they will adapt their menu over time.
Whenever I forget to bring my lunch, I can always rely on this cafe for fantastic food! The chicken bowl is absolutely delicious! The chicken, rice, and broccoli were all cooked to perfection! It’s definitely worth the price. You’ll also enjoy the burgers and wings. The highlight, however, is the customer service! The staff is always friendly, respectful, and easy to talk to. I once ordered a double bacon cheeseburger with fries, and it was incredible! This place never disappoints!
I ordered the Chicken Bowl. It was delicious and tasted fresh. In addition the food is very healthy and customer service is on point. I will definitely return!

My favorite drink is the piña colada. Dining at their restaurant always brings me joy. The food is consistently satisfying, and the prices are reasonable.
They should update their hours. This is the second time I stopped by before 5:30 and they were closed. I was looking forward to enjoying a smoothie.
Both bowls did not contain brown rice as advertised. The smoothies were left open, and the French fries were all soggy.
