Fitz Curry Café I can't speak highly enough of this place which is austere and rustic in appearance, but punches above its weight in terms of heart and good tasting Indian cuisine. This is my idea of a restaurant standard sub continental food but at lunch bistro prices. None of these comments are at all tongue in cheek this is my favourite Indian restaurant in the Inner North, and the best in Fitzroy by a mile.<br/ <br/ The vegetable Samosas, the Malia Kofta, the Mukha Paneer, vindaloo or the butter chicken (not to mention the garlic naan) all these are what you would expect from your high quality local Indian eatery. When it came to ordering, we had a tough time deciding because everything looked delicious. In the end, we chose the kickarse scramble with salmon, Japanese noodle salad with salmon skewers, Moroccan M'hanncha (baked filo pastry), and the Hangover Cure berry crush smoothie. The dishes were all flavorful and the portion sizes were perfect. The prices were reasonable, making The Fitz a great choice for breakfast, lunch, or brunch. We highly recommend it.

This is our first time to this restaurant, it’s beyond our expectation and the food is really good! Everything taste just right and we really had a great dinner experience with friendly staff and great recommendations from staffs. We will definitely come back again soon!

I have been a patron of this restaurant for quite some time and it never fails to deliver when it comes to their Indian curry dishes. The vegetarian platter is incredibly bountiful and satisfying.

Best Indian I have had in Melbourne and very reasonably priced! Fantastic service and fantastic flavours with all the curries. The Lamb Madras and Chicken Masala were a real treat.

My curry expectations are no doubt, pretty high (as a Malaysian) - okay, I see some sort of a trend going right now, I seem to be doing a curry hunt, kinda.

I've been here a few times and have to say I think its pretty good, Came once with a big group and all our food came out correctly and quickly and again on Réservez une table maintenant
