Flemings is a constant; the food is always good, predictable, and we love it because of that. Interesting for a Saturday evening that the place was nearly empty, though! We had a salad dressing issue; they apparently now don't have Thousand Island dressing, and we explained to the waiter how to make it (mayo and catsup), and he came back to let us know the kitchen had no mayo. That's a first for me! The manager took it upon herself to go across the street to another restaurant chain and got some Thousand Island, and the night was saved. Other than that, the steaks were great, and the salads, sides and wine very nice.
A slow night at the restaurant translates into slow service and uneven quality food. Other than the Pine Club, this might be the best steakhouse in Dayton, but I’m afraid that’s not a very high bar.

Fleming's has the most delicious steaks and salmon and the service was outstanding. A bit pricey but worth it.
