We couldn’t believe we were eating at a root beer stand. The food was so delicious. Hand dipped batter fried fish. Hand dipped batter fried onion rings. How do I know this? because I’m a cook at a very nice restaurant in Jackson, Michigan. Even my 6-year-old triplet grandsons raved over the onion rings. When we asked for a couple of substitutions, the person taking our order said no problem each time. I asked for a frosted mug root beer, even though we were eating in our car instead of in the dining room. Again, no problem. Today my Family and I came for the first time and i was kinda flabbergasted at how sticky the floor was. Our server Hollie was wonderful ? we sat down ordered our food everything was going pretty good. I ordered a Crispy Chicken Salad it came out and the salad over flowed the bowl to the point I tried to start cutting up my chicken and I almost spilled my food all over the floor then they only gave 1 PACKET of ranch for a big salad like that. I wasn't impressed. My son had a club sandwich the mayo on it was WAYYY to much. My bf got a burger and it was the size of a half dollar on the bun. All in all. I won't be back.
