Flux is on the short list of great true coffee spots on Long Island. Their various single origins coffees are among the best around, and I love that you can get it served as a pour over right in the shop. They've become go to source for buying beans for home brewing. Other things to love: Great vibe in the cafe, both indoor and outdoor seating; super friendly and knowledgable staff; fun menu of creative espresso drinks, including iced ones; and a great rotation of coffee roasts even if you're in the mood for iced, they often have one of their single origins available and those truly hit different, IMHO.
I've had a ton of friends rave about this place for a long time and I am so glad I finally got around to stopping in. I had the seasonal Mistletoe Latte and I also tried their flat white. This was some of the smoothest coffee I've ever had the pleasure of consuming. On top of it being delicious, the atmosphere is very cozy and the staff is very friendly. There isn't too much seating available in the small place, so just be wary if you come looking for a place to hangout for a bit. Plenty of parking in the municipal lots nearby though.
This little cafe if warm and inviting. Soft music is playing from a chosen vinyl album, the barista was pleasant, and the coffee was good. Really good. I had the smoke maple latte. It's all a bit pricey, but the attention to detail is exquisite. I can't recommend this place for a quick coffee run, but as a once in a while treat, definitely worth it.
Coffee: 4/5 (good, but not 5/5) Service: 5/5 Coffee was okay. It did not wow me, but it was better than most! The staff and service were extremely friendly and offered recommendations. The atmosphere is cozy and there is a good amount of seating available. Recommendations: Latte and Peanut Butter Jelly thing.

I’m visiting from out of state, and every time I’m in Farmingdale to see family, I always look forward to stopping by here. The staff is consistently friendly, and the coffee is excellent. I usually stick with drip coffee, but my family raves about the lattes and matcha. Thanks, Flux!
My friends and I went this coffee shop last week was great taste of espresso. You could have deep, richer taste of espresso at here.
Best coffee around! The barista's are super friendly. The outside seating area is cute cozy. Try the dirty chai, it's my favorite!
Very authentic Colombian pour over. Lots of body. Hip spot with great seating arrangement and lightning.

Delicious but soooooo pricey. Don't regret going but definitely won't be a frequent flyer here.
