Sat down waited ten minutes for service and finally went to the bar and got my own drink and menu. Bartender said she'd sent server my way. No such luck so she came and took my order her self. I ordered Nymph falls pizza which was said to be mushrooms, black truffle oil butter and mozza. Pizza came quite fast delivered by kitchen staff still no server all though I see him wondering around aimlessly staring at the floor. Very good crust on the pizza like none I've ever had but no hint of black truffle and basically very one noted flavor and bland. This restaurant is very basic. The menu options are priced similarly to higher quality items at other nearby restaurants. The drinks are also basic, with no fresh mint for a mojito, only mint syrup. The only fresh ingredient was a lime wedge. The server mistakenly claimed the ginger beer was local, but it was actually made in Massachusetts, USA. On a busy night, they were out of cider. My friend's burger came with salsa, which was odd. The pizzas and nachos were mediocre. Overall, it was not a terrible experience, just bland and uninspiring considering the cost. My only recommendation would be to stick to ordering a beer on tap.

The food at this restaurant was amazing and the server was okay, but things took a turn when she became aggressive after receiving a $20 tip. She informed us that we needed to leave because minors were not allowed after 8 pm, even though we did not have any minors at our table. When we clarified this, she became rude. We were a group of 5, and if she had concerns about the age of some members of our party, she should have asked for identification before insisting we leave.

We had some of the best service, she was working hard to keep up with all of her tables with limited help. Good local beer on tap, good food but we found it to be pretty expensive. Chicken wings, 8 at most were $14 during regular hours, we will definitely be back during happy hour to save that $7 and put it towards another pint of Vancouver Islands finest beer. Went for lunch early and was impressed with fresh food and local beers. Server was knowledgeable about the beer and very good at giving advice on local beaches and other attractions to check out while in the area

Saturday dinner choices for under $7 along with regular priced items. Relaxing atmosphere. Sports on lots of TVs, but all turned down. Waitress was attentive and sweet.
