Service as usual was excellent. There were four of us and 2 ordered fillets, one ordered lobster tail. Their food was very good, as usual. I ordered a New York steak and it was very grizzly. Every other bite was unchewable. It was like little pieces of rope in the meat. I sent it back but it took a long time to get a replacement meal and by the time I got it, my friends had finished their meal. OK, that happens but the replacement steak was close to being rare, I had ordered it medium. So I sent it back again. It was unusual that it came almost rare since it took really a long time to get it. So I had to send it back again and that took a long time and although it was the same piece of meat...
The meal was exceptional. I had the Shrimp/Scallop risotto and the seafood was cooked to perfection and the risotto was creamy and flavorful. My guests had the Filet Mignon with bernaise sauce on the side and the meat was cooked exactly as ordered. The waiter was efficient but friendly. The room was quiet when we first arrived but as it got filled up, the noise level increased so it was hard to hear someone across the table.
