This review is for a To Go order. Today, I was allowed to expense lunch for work, and I wanted something quick, but also healthy. I went downtown to Sultan's and ordered the combo appetizer platter and lentils. The lentil soup needed to be heated up which takes eight minutes but that was totally fine because it's so delicious that it's totally worth it and eight minutes isn't really long since nobody was in line in front of me at this super early hour for lunch. While I was waiting inside, I appreciated how clean and organized everything inside the restaurant looked. I brought the food home and the hot falafels were perfectly cooked with a crisp outer layer and non-greasy inner layer. The ve...

I want to start off by saying I enjoyed my meal, my wife not as much. If you want to know why it's only 3 stars, read on. When rating places, I think people tend to do 5 stars if they like it and 1 if they don't and we need better info than that. Theplace had very high ratings so we checked it out. I'll break it down to simple pro/cons. PRO: Shawarma was tasty to me, hummuswas good, and the chili sauce was awesome as it usually is. The restaurant is casual but nice inside. CON: I get it Danville, but $2.50 for a soda can from a mini fridge is on the high side for anywhere but a movie theater, a solid 1000% markup forprofits but no biggie. My wife is Arabic and loves Arabic food, but noted tha...
Worst service ever. The lady at the counter is rude and tip-oriented automatic tip, not the earned tip). She is monotone. However, her eyes tell the story. She needs to visit the ladies next door at Medleno Cafe and learn the genuineness and care for her client. She does not give a damn if you are a loyal client and makes you feel like she doesn't need your business, which might be why the restaurant is always empty. She made me not want to come to the Danville location. Pleasanton customer service is way better!
The price of food were high in comparison with other similar restaurants. They ask you to pay upfront and expect tips, how can you expect tips when the customer has not eaten and has not seen your service. I think this is not professional to beg money upfront . The service was not good because when you bring a desert or similar item that should be served using a tray for therespect of the customer. I am not going there. Réservez une table maintenant
Great place to eat.Friendly and fast service. They always serve consistently delicious food. There is plenty of parking and seating inside. The food is good enough for white table cover. In fact I wish they would upgrade their service to be a full on sit down restaurant. Their food is delicious, I'd consider having family parties here. I'd love to experience their service even more.
This restaurant is pretty good, but it really depends on when you order. Twice now I've ordered food around lunchtime, and both times the shawarma meat was tough and resembled beef jerky. I don't get why they don't cut off the overcooked parts. Instead, they served me a plate full of tough meat. I ended up throwing my order away.
The food is always excellent at this restaurant, and when you call ahead, your meal is ready when you arrive. The service is top-notch and the atmosphere is perfect for a nice dinner out. The price per person ranges from $20 to $30. Overall, I give this place a 5 out of 5 for both the food and service.
The Halal Chicken Shawarma plate is bit dry they need to make bit more spicy and maybe provide sauce with it. I have never seen a plate with such a small quantity of rice I was disappointed for what I paid for. Réservez une table maintenant
Food was decent but overpriced. The lamb platter was rice and carrots. The leg of lamb was more akin to a chicken drumstick ???. Not worth $20. Falafels were good and so was the appetizer platter.Food: 3/5
