I was looking forward to trying Forrest Hills Pizza. I noticed that there was black stuff coming off of the pizza when I took my first bite It must have been from the oven. That tells me that the owner doesn't clean his oven often. This is the worst pizza place I have ever been too. I called to complain about the pizza. The owner said there was nothing wrong with the pizza. How would he know my fiance picked the pizza up? The owner said the pizza was supposed to be that way. I moved to the neighborhood in June and finally tried this restaurant for the first time. I had heard great things about their gyros and chicken, so I decided to sample both. I was not disappointed—everything was absolutely delicious! The chicken was perfectly cooked, soft, and tender; unlike most takeout chicken, which can often be tough and gristly. I managed to devour 10 buffalo tenders in one sitting, something I've never done before! The gyro was equally impressive, made with simple, fresh ingredients that complemented each other perfectly. If the rest of the menu is anything like this, living in the area just got even better. Two thumbs up!
You get a very strong Hurry up, buy, and get out vibe from the old guy working behind the counter. He has no problem making customers feel like they 're an inconvenience regardless of whether they buy food or not. Hopefully someone steps in and ends the poor service being given in there.
A small diner serving generous portions at very reasonable prices. My 1 egg breakfast came with coffee, toast, 3 sausages and a large helping of home fried potatoes. Less than $7. And the folks in there were just great. Couldn't ask for more.

Pizza burnt! Disgusting! so crazy, is that it was burnt so bad! you actually just gave me that pizza! I don't know if it was me or they do that to everybody but they should throw that out... oh like I did!
Simple spot for a classic, inexpensive diner breakfast without the frou-frou. Eggs to order, omelettes, etc. Order at the counter. Set and clear your own table.
The food is very affordable and delicious, with generous portion sizes. It's a great local spot for pizza and sandwiches!
Delicious pizza located right across from the Forest Hills T and bus station, all at very reasonable prices.
