When we arrived, we asked to be seated outside, but the hostess was unsure if a table was available. She even asked other guests if they could confirm the status of the neighboring table! Meanwhile, my toddler was running around and I was trying to soothe my newborn. After 15 minutes without any service, I approached her to ask if anyone was going to take our order. Her response was baffling: she said they didn’t know if we were staying. If a guest has been lingering for 15-20 minutes, wouldn’t it be reasonable to check in with them? There was no apology for the oversight.

The hostess brought us water without any acknowledgment, and her demeanor suggested that she thought she was more important than the customers. After placing our order, we waited nearly an hour for our food to arrive, despite the restaurant not being particularly busy. They also didn’t offer any bread or appetizers during the wait, which would have been a nice gesture considering the delay. However, I was puzzled when my order of two poached eggs on a potato hash, accompanied by bacon and hollandaise sauce, arrived at a lukewarm temperature. The poached eggs were not runny, and the hollandaise sauce had already thickened and set. I couldn't understand how I received cold food in a restaurant that wasn't busy at all—this isn’t a Denny’s.
It's disappointing because if the hollandaise sauce had been warm and the yolk runny, the dish would have been much more enjoyable and worth trying. Perhaps it's the bar that draws people in, rather than the food.
We ordered takeout from the bar to enjoy by the pool and later in our room on a late Sunday evening. It took quite a while for someone to assist us at the hostess stand, and then even longer for a bartender to take our order. The menu didn’t offer many choices, particularly simple options for kids. However, the food was good—we got a variety of appetizers and shared an entrée. One of the appetizers, the sausage, was simply a single sausage cut in half.

For dessert, I treated myself to affogato—an Italian delight made with a shot of espresso poured over a scoop of local vanilla gelato. It was a delightful way to conclude the meal. Given the high quality of the food, the prices were very reasonable. Should I be in the area again, I would happily dine here again.
The breakfast the next morning was just as delicious, accompanied by equally outstanding service.
My wife ordered the angel hair spaghetti with shrimp, while I had hamburgers cooked absolutely to perfection (medium rare). Both dishes were outstanding! However, the highlight was the appetizer, which was an incredible meatball served in a special sauce.

Went there for Valentine's Day. Although our server tried, the food took forever to come out. We ordered an appetizer that came out the same time as our food. Overall, it was not a good experience.
