Good atmosphere for socialisation and relaxing by playing billiards, or simply having a meal there while watching TV or reading manga (my childhood memory for sure!! . Having been there twice during my two visits to Perth in April and July, 2022 a few hours before my flight departure. Location in the heart of Northbridge and close to hostels and bars, Chinatown, but pretty quiet and clean there compare to a few blocks nearby. Having a chat with the owner and their family during my last visit, which is a really pleasant experience : It’s been here for 20 years and witnessed the change over time and growth of a generation. I will definitely visit again next time when heading to Perth.
This large venue offers pool tables for hire, arcade games, a vast collection of Chinese comics, and a restaurant area showing Taiwanese talk shows on TV. Some patrons come for the pool tables, some for the food and drinks, and others for both. The menu features Taiwanese meals, street food, snacks, and bubble tea. The food has a cozy, home-cooked flavor and is reasonably priced, attracting a younger crowd for casual meals. While the venue could benefit from a renovation, it remains a great and affordable place to hang out. Parking is limited out front, so street or complex parking may be necessary.
This restaurant offers excellent Taiwanese cuisine at a great price. The deep fried chicken with rice contains braised pork bits, and they also provide a small side of cabbage salad and miso soup, making for a satisfying meal. This is my favorite spot in Northbridge, and I highly recommend it. Don't let the exterior of the restaurant intimidate you.
An interesting and relaxed setting that is rather authentic. The fried chicken on rice was good for the value. Seaweed salad needs improvement. We waited for a long time for food, but it's a good hang-out place if you are not in a hurry. I felt that the menu needs some reworking and be more concise.

This restaurant offers delicious and affordable Taiwanese cuisine. The portions are generous and the Taiwanese fried chicken is excellent. They even swapped my rice for free when I discovered it contained pork. I highly recommend this place.

Taste like home! lots of comic and magazines to read as well Good value, huge portion. Highly recommend the pork broth rice and chicken rice

Cheap and good. Not the best, but for $12 you get a big portion and decent food. Picture: deep fried chicken and spring roll
