Fountain Inn - Réservation de table

Just brilliant, especially as this includes a drink for a tenner! Don't normally do chips but these were fat, crisp and freshly cooked. Interesting sides including fondant tomato and baby button mushrooms. We had (at additional cost, but very reasonable) starters. The steaks were well flavoured and cooked, rump or sirloin. Sadly run out of the gammon. Veggie alternative was cauliflower steak. Nice atmosphere, not a massive place, so recommend booking.

Our evening meal was cooked to perfection, beautifully presented and good value for money. Although the waitress was run off her feet due to an unexpected busy Wednesday night, she still managed to stay pleasant, helpful and cheerful throughout the evening. The breakfast was the same.. cooked beautifully, presented well and tasted great!... highly recommended..

After traipsing round Barnoldswick for a meal we decided on The Fountain for a one. Nice enough pub and bar staff (Scottish woman) really good. Ordered two Steak in ale pies which when arrived looked great. Dunno what it was, if the pie itself, or the gravy which we suspect, but it was horribly salt ridden! Chef must have a thing for the stuff!

Went based on other reviews. The place was very busy with few staff. Sat in restaurant area but was still noisy. Placed order and waited, and waited and waited. Having waited 45 mins., we decided to give it another 5 before leaving. It finally arrived, with no apology. Shame because the food was OK. Wouldn't bother again. Réservez une table maintenant

Friendly efficient staff informed before ordering that chef was on his own and would be a wait. Well worth the wait the meal was fantastic and the service excellent. Lovely friendly atmosphere. Really good value.

Ordered food taken over an hour to get mains no starter ordered, while waiting for food orders was told a lot of main courses was sold out. Not advised of this at orderering. Verdict needs improvement!

This could be such a great little pub. Bar Staff are more interested in their Phones or conversing with each.other. Yard full of weeds,planters full of fag butts., abit of TLC wouldn't go amiss. I Réservez une table maintenant

The Sunday roast had lots of different types of veg and was a medium portion for me. Very tasty. They also allow dogs in the bar area. I would recommend the Sunday lunch. Very tasty.

Very good food. Nice place. Sadly tho the old owner has left. Let's see what it's like on next visit.
