Actually a 4 pound shop... Taste wise ok... First time i did not like it well... But the second time they gave me very tasty and yummy food... First time i did not liked it because of the guy at counter did not allowed me customize my choice... But the second time, there was a lady at the counter, very customer friendly, explained about the food i was ordering and allowing me to customize to a extra spicy one and the food nailed it... About food : I order a happy meal which was 7.5 pounds starter's : salt and pepper fries, nice, crispy, spicy went very well with fried rice too... The food is decent, but the restaurant is so cold that it cools down the food quickly. They offer a set meal that includes rice instead of chips. They do not allow customers to take leftovers home, even if they have paid for the food. Despite being a takeaway restaurant, it seems like they don't prioritize the dining experience. The place has not been updated since the previous owners, as evidenced by the old buffet labels still on the walls. After multiple visits, the quality of the food and overall experience seems to be declining.
Earlier, I ordered a simple chicken curry from this restaurant. Unfortunately, the curry sauce was lumpy. When we contacted the restaurant through Just Eat for a refund, a woman called us back and told us we should have contacted the restaurant directly for a refund. She then proceeded to refuse our refund request. Her attitude towards the situation was unacceptable, and I strongly advise against ordering from this restaurant. They should improve their customer service and seek help in handling such situations.
Never in my life have I tasted anything like it, absolute rank. Gravy thin as water with absolutely no taste, couldn't tell the difference between the gravy and the bbq sauce. Special fried rice, big box full of dried out rice with tiny bits of god knows what it was, again no flavour. Chips stone cold, even the prawn crackers tasted awful, god only knows what they were fried in, whole lot went in the bin. Never ever again , my advice to anyone thinking about using this place DONT!!!
I ordered takeout from this restaurant, and the only positive thing I can say is that it arrived on time. I got the king prawn chow mein and chips and found them to be cold, heavy, and greasy. I couldn't finish my meal and have been experiencing stomach issues for the past hour. I do not plan on returning to this restaurant.
