I live East of Rose City in NLR and consider this one of my neighborhood bars among Fassler Hall and Bar Louie (all of which have live music and outdoor seating). I've enjoyed to talking to people here at the bar, on the floor during a show and out back while smoking an occasional cigarette. It also has a cool upstairs with shuffleboard and a good view of downstairs. It's cool that there is a sound engineer who does a good job of getting the sound right with a digital sound board tablet. The bartenders and staff are friendly including the door person. The guests are diverse in age and other aspects which is healthy. I was determined to ride a lime scooter downtown and stumbled upon this place, which was open when many others were not. To my delightful surprise, the owner was very beautiful. I had one of the best hamburgers of my life! I also discovered a lovely back terrace with a stage for live music. The bar atmosphere reminded me of the show "Cheers"—all that was missing was Norm! Conan, you did an amazing job; you've definitely won over future customers in me and my girlfriend. Jimmy behind the bar was incredibly welcoming, taking the time to explain some of the dishes and even making some great suggestions. I’ll definitely be back soon!
beautiful small bar and venue with great food! the image does not make the Burger justiz, it was perfectly cooked and inappropriately seasoned. the whole staff was killed. service was great and fast, even if the bar was packed for a show, beer prices were also quite cheap! 75 cent ponys of high life and 2.50 slammers of pbr. will definitely return.
