From the moment we walked in the staff were very friendly and welcoming. 3 of us ordered the vegetarian wellington and was advised it would take 45 mins . The starters were spot on ,we had garlic bread with cheese and the mushroom which were delicious. In regards to the mains I would rather wait for it to be cooked to order than food that is just reheated . I must say it was worth the wait ! Well the deserts ! We had a mixture of creme brulé , sticky toffee pudding and the cheesecake, generous portions and very tasty. Overall we will be back not only for the food but to give their lovely dogs a cuddle! Vegetarian options: Best vegetarian meal out in a long while !
The steak was cooked too much and we weren't offered a steak knife or any condiments. The bill was brought to us right after we said no to dessert. By 8:55 pm, the card machine was brought to our table without checking if we wanted more drinks, even though the closing time was advertised as 10:00 pm. The price per person was between £20-30. The food was rated a 2, the service a 3, and the atmosphere a 2.
Nice ambiance. Good and tasty food and served by very friendly people. Dog friendly. Price is also very acceptable. Free parking direct next to te pub. on the way back from the city to lunch. this was our second visit, and both of them were delicious. the service was excellent and the staff could not have been more friendly. dogs are welcome and there is a beautiful quiet garden from the back....Hohe recommended

The meal was wonderful and the staff were extremely friendly. It was a great experience. The price per person is between £50-£60. I highly recommend trying the lasagne and garlic bread, as well as the sticky toffee pudding.
